About us
We're venue owners too.
Aplastaff comes from the family behind Nabhangan, an event venue in Kasaba Bawada, Kolhapur. We learned this business by running our own venue, empty days and all.
It started with a family wedding
Nabhangan means “a courtyard under the sky”. It began when we held a wedding in our own family, on our own land. People liked the place so much that it grew into a venue for weddings, receptions and family functions.
Then we counted the empty days
Running a venue is a competitive business, and every booking day counts. When we looked at our calendar, the venue was in use on only about 35% of the days in a year. Weddings came on muhurat dates and weekends. Weekdays and the monsoon stayed empty, but staff, electricity and upkeep cost the same every day.
We asked a different question
Instead of waiting for more weddings, we looked at what the venue already had: power, light, air conditioning, open space and a kitchen. Then we asked who else needed those things on the days we didn't.
The first renters
A caterer, Hotel Radiant, started booking our kitchen a week at a time whenever they needed it. We rented out an AC room to store food items. One booking at a time, our empty days started to earn.

Then other venues tried it
Lotus Lawns turned its hall into a month-long training centre for RealTrade Academy. Ramkrushna Halls and Lawns became parking for the Mahalaxmi Temple Trust through Navratri. Ambar Hall in Kasaba Bawada now parks Ashtavinayak Transport's tractors, tankers and JCBs every night, and stays free for events by day.
That became Aplastaff
Most venue owners we know have the same empty days, and no time to chase caterers, transporters and trainers. So we made it our work. We find the renters, set up the deals and fit them around your events, for a flat 10% of the new revenue we bring in.
